And every day, the Dundas Manor team strives to inspire happiness and joy for our residents. Imagine how much more we can give and do for our residents in a brand-new home!
Joan Dunlop
I speak on behalf of Dundas Manor residents who love this home and the people who live and work here. We have made the very best of an outdated physical structure. The new home will provide each resident with a better living environment.
Mary MacAskill
Mary has suffered from vertigo for 20 years and moved to Dundas Manor three years ago. Mary says that Dundas Manor feels like home. The only thing that would make Dundas Manor better for Mary MacAskill is if Tom Selleck lived there. She’s a big fan! There are even posters of Tom in her room. She loves Chinese food nights and the fresh fruit. On the first day at the new Dundas Manor, she’s going to test out her bed and then go and eat. She’ll be putting all those pictures up too. Mary can’t wait!
David Barr
David moved to Dundas Manor in 2018 and lived there until he passed away. His wife Penny says it was the little things that made a difference for him during the time he called Dundas Manor home. “I wouldn’t have wanted to have David in any other place. The staff – from the activity department to the cleaning staff – were all good, friendly, kind people. The building is well past its expiry date, but Dundas Manor is still the place of choice. Put my name on the list.”
Darl and Pam Tharp
Darl and Pam Tharp shared a room at Dundas Manor for many years before Darl recently passed away. Their love for Dundas Manor was only surpassed by their love for each other. They were never apart. Darl used to say: “We love everything about Dundas Manor. We wouldn’t wish to be anywhere else.”
